Jorginho being top 3 is the biggest joke in this award history. He literally wasn’t even an important player, neither for Italy nor for Chelsea. He even missed his penalty in the Euro final. Benzema on the other hand was god level, better than messi and comparable to Lewangoalski. Benzema and Lewa’s current form this season speak for themselves meanwhile messi flopped and Jorginho is unheard in this season.

Jorginho being considered was the joke. It’s crazy what PR can actually do. Having said that Lewandowski was absolutely robbed. He had one of the greatest seasons as a striker we’ve seen in decades. Lewadonski plays in a weak Bundesliga where they dominate so it is easier for him to score lots of goals. Also he plays as a striker. Messi still was top scorer in La Liga playing as a winger/A.M ,in a more competitive league and in a Barca in decline.
